According to the Vietnam News Agency, the Ambassador of the Netherlands and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Vietnam have recently signed the ACE-Biz project, aimed at promoting the circular economy among Vietnamese enterprises.

The project is expected to contribute significantly to Vietnam’s transition toward a circular and low-carbon economy. Key activities include supporting business model transformation, developing circularity guidelines, promoting technology transfer, and designing and piloting quality certification schemes to facilitate the exchange of secondary materials and recycled products through an online marketplace.
The initiative will also serve as a foundation for developing technical guidelines to help enterprises integrate circular design principles, apply industrial wastewater circularity models, and enhance the sustainability and efficiency of recycling practices.
In addition, information shared during the working session highlighted that the project will inform the design and implementation of training programs aimed at equipping Vietnamese businesses with knowledge on sustainable production and circular business models. These efforts seek to reduce environmental pollution, lay the groundwork for sustainable economic development, and create practical foundations that encourage the replication of similar models across other sectors and industries.
