In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Vo Van Hoan said that with the desire to promote sustainable development of the business community in the trend of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution , this year’s program expanded its scale with new areas such as the area introducing high technology; supporting industry; achievements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution with technological equipment, electronic microchips, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
“In particular, the city creates conditions to dedicate a space for the city’s enterprises to be awarded the title of green enterprises, innovative enterprises, and applying the ESG model in production and business,” Mr. Vo Van Hoan emphasized.
GRECO 2024 is an important initiative of the city to facilitate business exchanges and build a green production ecosystem based on science and technology, thereby improving competitiveness and minimizing negative impacts on the environment.

The program also contributes to promoting green lifestyles, building smart, sustainable cities and spreading sustainable consumption culture in the community.
GRECO 2024 takes place from September 21-25 at Nguyen Hue and Le Loi walking streets, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, gathering more than 100 domestic and foreign enterprises, associations and organizations with about 300 booths, displaying nearly 8,000 typical products.
The event is not only an opportunity for businesses to promote green growth products and services, but also a platform for connection and exchange between domestic and international businesses.
At the same time, it is the place where unique cultural, artistic and culinary performances take place every day with performances and food tasting experiences made by famous domestic and international artists.
